The Needle and I is owned and operated by Nancy Buhl,  a former school teacher who started teaching needlework classes at a local department store.  She opened this store in 1975, and in 1995 began her own designing under the name of  From Nancy's Needle. 

   We are very proud of The Needle And I and feel that it is a warm and inviting place to shop for your stitching supplies. We keep plenty of inventory in stock, but if you don't find what you are looking for, we'll be happy to order it for you.

As you can see, we have a large assortment of goodies to add  to your stitching stash!  Beautiful  scissors, thimbles, needle cases, too many items to list here!!!

We sell even-weave fabric and needlepoint canvas by the running inch from the bolt, not the package. We have quite a large selection!

Here you can see some of our fibers!  We carry so many ~ DMC, Anchor, Valdani, Paternayan Persian wool, Medicis wool, Rainbow Gallery, Weeks Dye Works, Sampler Threads, too many more to mention.
